I write about what I happen to be doing, which is mostly code, language, and the small administrative indignities of working for yourself. Sometimes that means a post about naming variables. Sometimes it means a post about why naming variables was the only part of the day I felt in control of.
I am not going to pretend those two things are separate. Nobody's actual working life is sorted into neat categories, and blogs that pretend otherwise are boring. The interesting part is always the seam — where a technical decision turns out to be a decision about how you want to spend a Tuesday.
What you can expect, roughly:
- Notes on writing software that other people can read.
- Tools I built because the existing one annoyed me.
- Occasional pieces on translation, Danish, and what gets lost.
- Whatever else is between heaven and earth that week.
No newsletter, no cadence, no growth strategy. Posts go up when they are finished. If you want to know when that happens, there is an RSS feed, which is still the best thing the internet ever made.
